XboxOne-Controller

On PC and Gaming Enthusiasts, were going to review every single thing about the XBOX ONE, first starting off with the…

Controller:

xboxonecontroller

Looks pretty DAYUM sexy right? well thats what I think.

You got to admit the Xbox One Controller is really similar to the Xbox 360’s Controller (but why MESS with SUCCESS), with a different handle contour, with off-set analog sticks, the A, B, X and Y face buttons, a directional pad, and two buttons, Menu and View, where Start and Back were.

The controller maintains the  design of the Xbox 360’s controller. The directional pad has a more traditional design compared to previous Xbox controllers, and the battery compartment is slimmer (yay). The triggers will have built-in rumble system called “Impulse Triggers“, aka “fairy dust”

Colour or to the americans Color:

Its called liquid black, its kind of like a black pens ink, looks very, do YOU agree tell me in the comments. Instead of calling it “liquid black” you could call it “a really dark black”, none of that fancy business man talk.

THE BATTERY:

Charging your Xbox One controller will be done via mini-usb cable. No information yet on battery life of the controller, or charging time. The controller will take batteries in a new integrated battery compartment. The controller has shed some pounds.

SOUND:

Audio delivery through the headset will be a higher quality than what Xbox 360 users have become accustomed to, thanks to an improved data transfer rate between the controller and console. According to Microsoft, communication be clearer than when speaking on a telephone. Put a beats by “Dr Dre” logo on the controller, and make the consumer pay a hundred dollars more Microsoft.

SYNCHING:

The controller will utilize both invisible reflective technology and LEDs to communicate with the console and Kinect, which will make syncing the devices a simple task. The technology can also be used so that Kinect can pair the controller with the person holding it, so that if a couple of friends were enjoying a multi-player game, the console can configure the split-screen positions based on where each is sitting. One pretty smart controller Microsoft, good one.

XBOX ONE CONTROLLER BUTTON NAMES:

The Xbox One Controller introduces two new buttons on Xbox where Start and Back appeared on Xbox 360. These buttons are named ‘Menu’ and ‘View’. One small leap for Microsoft, one giant leap in the Video Game Industry.

Menu: “The Menu button (on the right) will bring up context-specific menus which game and app developers can design to enhance the user experience. The Menu button could be used in scenarios such as bringing up in-game menus, showing video playback options, and accessing commands on the console’s user interface.”

View: The View button “will change views or provide more information in games and apps. The function of the View button will be driven by developers. Possible uses of the View button include viewing a map during a role playing game, displaying a leaderboard in a first person shooter, and enhancing the navigation of the console’s user interface.”
